About Me

I am a mostly self-taught watercolor artist working from my home studio in Ozark, MO. While I spent my career as a registered nurse, I always had the desire to paint. In 2020, I started doing on-line research to learn everything I could about watercolor. I watched you-tube videos and painting tutorials to learn about color theory, water control, technique, and perspective. I collected supplies, outfitted my studio and invested in quality paints. I painted daily and turned out several pieces that I donated to local charitable organizations for fundraising auctions. In 2021, I attended my first live watercolor workshop and released some of my paintings as holiday card sets. I focused on commissions in 2022 and continued painting for local non-profits. 2023 has been a time of exciting artistic growth! I’m exploring new subject matter, creating meaningful pieces for charitable donations, taking commissions, and finding my pace in what I hope is a long journey ahead.

When I’m not painting in my home studio, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, reading, and playing golf.

Thank you to my friends, family and avid collectors for supporting my work!
